Our client is looking out for someone who have a comprehensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, regulatory matters related to financial reporting, skillful in the use of spreadsheet programs like Excel etc.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, monitoring, and managing project budgets to ensure costs remain within approved limits.
Generating accurate and timely financial reports on project expenditures, revenues, and forecasts for stakeholders.
Recording and reconciling project-related expenses, invoices, and payments in line with company policies.
Ensuring project finances comply with accounting standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements; supporting audits when necessary.
Analyzing financial data to assess project profitability, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
Job Requirements
Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications like ACA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and project cost management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or MS Excel) and project management tools.
Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
High level of accuracy in financial records, with strong written and verbal communication to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders
