Project Account Officer at Workforce Group

• Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Project Account Officer to join its Finance team and support impactful development projects across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures
• Prepare financial reports and support project accounting activities
• Track project receivables and support collections follow-up
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
• Support cash flow management and financial compliance
• Work closely with programme and finance teams to ensure effective project implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• ICAN / ACCA qualification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project accounting, preferably within the NGO or non-profit sector
• Strong analytical, reporting, and budgeting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
