The Programmes, Research & Partnerships Intern will support programme coordination, research, proposal development, and institutional partnerships. This role is designed for individuals interested in bridging evidence, strategy, and implementation, while contributing to programme quality, learning, and partnership growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the design, coordination, and implementation of programmes aligned with Smart Aid Initiative’s strategic goals.
Assist in data collection, research, and analysis to inform programme planning and decision-making.
Support in drafting project proposals, concept notes, proposals, grant applications, reports and partnership briefs.
Support KPI tracking, programme monitoring, and outcome documentation.
Assist in preparing post-activity reviews, internal updates, learning documents, and research summaries.
Contribute to partnership engagement processes and documentation that strengthen institutional collaboration and long-term impact.
Ideal Academic Background: Development Studies, Public Policy, International Relations,
Project Management, Political Science, Economics Or related fields
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants for all roles must:
Be a recent graduate in law, social sciences, communications, finance, international relations, or other related disciplines.
Demonstrate a strong interest in development work, education, community impact, and youth-focused programming.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, own a laptop and be able to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
Be available for the full duration of the internship.
Reside in Kaduna or its environs.
Be available for in-person office work for two days.
Be willing to learn, take initiative, and contribute meaningfully within a team setting.
