Program Officer at Orodata

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project staff and technical experts to provide training, and lead the implementation of project activities.
• Lead the development and implementation of deliverables with project partners.
• Contribute to project monitoring and evaluation and analyze results to inform project implementation.
• Supervise the deliverables of internal staff and consultants on projects.
• Support the Executive Director in all aspects of program implementation to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.

Requirements

• Applicants must have at least 3 years of work experience in media or media development and relevant qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to lead, work independently and as a team member with the ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, ensure other team members meet deadlines, and be flexible.
• Proven experience in data journalism, data literacy capacity building, and expert use of data analysis and visualization software(s): Flourish Studio, Data Studio, Data Wrapper, Power BI, and Tableau.
