    Program Officer

    Our client in the ICT industry is looking for a PROGRAM OFFICER. The program officer will include:

    • Expanding program offering and enhancing the quality of existing programs
    • Developing and implementing strategy for the implementation of the network strategic mission and vision
    • Working with Advisory board and steering team in the roll out of mentoring and STEM Session
    • Acting as liaison for all interaction with the network young members
    • Planning our Conferences, Workshops, and Awards program
    • Managing interaction with end-to-end stakeholders including Nominees, Panel of Judges, sponsors, and conference speakers
    • Managing the entire program production life cycle including research, topic generation, and copy writing for conference sessions
    • Managing interaction with Panel of Judges for a viable, fair and equitable evaluation
    • Researching metrics for assessment and implementation of evaluation
    • Responsible for acquisition of sponsors, acquisition speakers, on-event and post-event management.
    • Acting as liaison for all stakeholder interaction towards conference, awards and workshop planning
    • Managing in-session activities leading a successful event
    • Posting conference event review and reporting
    • Using expertise in new business to bring new vendors and partners on board.
    • Assisting in developing sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration particularly for our training, conference and workshops events
    • Identifing objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
    • Reviewing market analyses to determine needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
    • Generating leads and responding to sales enquiries and ensuring high conversion rates through building and nurturing lasting relationships
    • Establishing and maintaining close personal contact with top echelon partners particularly in the Technology, Banking and Financial Service Sector
    • Working with multiple stakeholders to understand, evolve and present a business case for a sale
    • Analyzing sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales.

    Knowledge skills and Experience

    • Technology savvy with knowledge of cyber security and digital enables business
    • Proven Experience in the planning and execution of complex events
    • Solid understanding of the some of the following Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Workplace by Facebook, streaming technologies and video communication systems
    • Proven track record and operational experience across EMEA region
    • Strong experience of developing and maintaining relationship with both customers and the supply chain
    • Strong communication, facilitation and relationship building skills plus influencing and negotiations skills
    • Proven critical issues management capability, and solid senior leadership interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in diverse, multinational teams and validated ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes
    • 3-6 progressive work experience
