Program Officer at First Excelsia

Industry: NGO 

Our client, a leading NGO with service offering including drug abuse prevention, drug addiction rehabilitation and aftercare services is seeking to fill the role of a Program Officer.

The role holder will work as a team member in the Directorate of Programs and provide professional support in defining program requirements, strategy development, project management, program audit & quality assurance, managing alliances and advocacy.

Job Description:

• Develop programs that align with organisation’s vision and corporate goal.
• Supervise and provide technical inputs for research and program development.
• Develop and manage the effective delivery of programs and their promotion & education to organisations, communities and other groups.
• Collaborate with other Directorates on other program led initiatives and ensure effective execution.
• Manage resources to ensure program objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations for each program
• Prepare periodic reports on programs’ status
• Effectively manage program database for decision support.

Person Specification:

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of five years post qualification experience in a structured organisation.
• Work experience in an NGO and in a similar role will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Packages: Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint
