Program Manager at Decagon

Duties/Responsibilities:

In this role, you will -

• Conduct regular program monitoring, evaluation, documentation, and clear reporting on the progress of program implementation against indicators and targets and determine corrective measures to improve program delivery.
• Manage a diverse program and agile team to ensure delivery of agreed deliverables, technical curriculum, plans, and strategies as per company policies, procedures, and standards
• Provide accurate and timely reports of program status throughout its lifecycle.
• Ensure program activities are on track, including developing and implementing solutions as necessary.
• Conduct capacity building and/ or mentoring activities for program staff as required.
• Facilitate team building and cohesive working amongst team members.
• Review and support the elaboration of program documents and reports
• Provide feedback to the program team to ensure optimal performance;
• Organize programs and activities in accordance with Decagon’s mission and vision.
• Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of Decagon.

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree (preferably in Human Resources/ Business Administration/ Project Management or related field)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development.
• Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methodologies.
• Practical experience working in a tech-driven academic environment (Preferred).
• Collaborative with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - should have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Program Management software (e.g. Basecamp, MS Project, etc.)
