Program Manager at Africa Strategy Advisers

We are looking to hire an experienced program manager to drive the development and implementation of initiatives, provide effective project management as well as oversee the monitoring and evaluation of programs.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the foundation's leadership team to develop and refine the strategic plans, goals, and objectives of the foundation. Ensure alignment between programs and the overall strategic direction
• Program Management: Drive the execution of entire program lifecycle including supervising the implementation of key activities and resources, and developing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, ensuring the successful implementation of the foundation's initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, and beneficiaries.
• Program Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems to measure program outcomes, assess impact, and identify areas for improvement.
• People & Process Management: The Program Manager will also ensure that the grantees, program implementation partners and service providers are accountable to and work proactively for the effective delivery of projects.

Required Qualifications / Experience:

• A degree in any relevant or related degree would be applicable.
• A proven successful track record and experience in program management in similar NGOs
• A good working knowledge of the non-for-profit sector (i.e. NGO in Nigeria).
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Good Monitoring and evaluation skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Ability to maintain and foster related relationships with internal and external stakeholder
