Applicants must be a holder of Ph. D. in relevant field with at least 12 years teaching experience at University level plus 3 years as Reader in the University.
Considerable background of research with sufficient number (not less than 15) of scholarly publications in reputable journals and (not less than 10) edited conference proceeding in an acknowledged authority in area of specialization.
Not less than 75% of the publications shall be in an application area of specialization.
Postgraduate capacity development through professional and academic activities.
Adequate postgraduate supervision at Ph. D. And Masters levels.
Sound academic leadership and mentorship.
Administrative skills, ability and experience.
Favourable external assessment.
An applicant for the position of professor must be currently a leader in the University or waiting external assessment for the position.
