• Set up, operate and maintain hydraulic water drilling machine
• Perform pre – task planning prior to executing work, complete job hazard analysis (JHA), and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
• Utilize strong leadership and management skills in conducting site supervision and workforce scope compliance for various remodeling improvement
• Creating and managing team schedules
• Ability to troubleshoot the machines. Equipment and drilling process.
• Well versed in the siting of the borehole location
• Effective running and monitoring of the drill process
• Able to articulate various stages of the drill and function appropriately
• Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures in line with Global Best Practice is used in the drilling process
• Stop, start and control machine drilling speed and align as well as position drills to stabilize machine
• Regulate downward pressure, rotary speed and air pressure against drilling material.
• Very skilled in applying knowledge of drilling method such as mud rotary
• Well versed in the verification of depths and alignment of boring positions
• Articulate the selection and attachment of drill bits and drill rods
• Being able to apply knowledge of rock and soil conditions
• Supervise directional drilling operations on the drilling site.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Sciences with at least 4 years’ experience in leading/handline water borehole drilling projects with professional borehole hydraulic drilling machines experience, up to 200-300 meters depth.
