Production Trainee
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification First School Leaving Certificate
- Experience 1 - 2 years
- Location Lagos
- Job Field Food, Beverage and Hospitality
- Salary Range ₦50,000 - ₦100,000/month
- Create and maintain a cleaning schedule for the kitchen.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Clean stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, and using cleaning solutions, brushes and washcloths.
- Operate dishwasher and clean general kitchen area.
- Clean, sanitize and put away dishes using various commercial dishwashers.
- Inspect kitchen equipment for cleanliness.
- Restock supplies for servers and cooks.
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Adhere to all food, health and safety regulations.
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
- Sort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Consistently and frequently clean restaurant seating area and rest rooms.
