Position Overview: The Production Supervisor in a nylon manufacturing company is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the production floor. This role involves managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment, and leading a team of production workers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a solid understanding of quality assurance and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

   • Supervise and manage daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
   • Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
   • Monitor production processes, making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve production targets.
   • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate production goals, expectations, and safety procedures.
   • Address employee concerns, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts within the team.

3. Quality Assurance & Control:

   • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
   • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to identify and resolve quality issues.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.

4. Safety & Compliance:

   • Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
   • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
   • Maintain a clean and organized production floor to ensure a safe working environment.

5. Inventory & Materials Management:

   • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure uninterrupted production.
   • Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary materials and supplies.
   • Manage waste and recycling processes to minimize material loss and environmental impact.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

   • Prepare and maintain accurate records of production activities, including daily output, downtime, and quality issues.
   • Generate regular reports on production performance and present them to management.
   • Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes and resolve operational challenges.

7. Continuous Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
   • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in manufacturing.
   • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in production management.
