    Production Supervisor

    Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the factory floor within our plastic manufacturing facility.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring quality standards, meeting production targets, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise day-to-day production activities in the plastic manufacturing plant.
    • Assign duties and monitor the performance of production workers and machine operators.
    • Ensure production targets are met in line with quality and safety standards.
    • Monitor machine operations, report faults, and coordinate routine maintenance.
    • Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the factory floor.
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
    • Manage raw material usage and minimize waste during production.
    • Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.
    • Train new staff and support skill development of existing team members.
    • Communicate production issues and improvement opportunities to management.

    Person Specification:

    • OND/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a plastic manufacturing or related production environment.
    • Good knowledge of plastic production processes and machinery.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
    • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and quality control procedures.
