Supervises the preparation of the production program estimating production needs, considering plant capacity and identifying any operational restrictions such as tooling and operating sequence.
Ensures the production programs are completed in due time and manner coordinating corrective actions when necessary, analyzing required inputs for production and ensuring an appropriate equipment operation.
Tracks coating raw materials consumption and ensures availability of minimum stock to fulfil available orders.
Flags criticalities affecting compliance with production orders and coordinates the implementation of identified remedial actions.
Builds and updates project schedules, shares schedule updates with internal and external stakeholders
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Attributes of Desired Candidate
First Degree in Engineering or a Physical Science related course
Minimum of 2 years working experience as a planner in Oil and Gas services or Manufacturing
Strong analytical skills
Critical thinking and proactive mindset
Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc).
Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 will be an added advantage.
Good interpersonal, teamwork, reporting and presentation skills
