    Production Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in coordinating daily production activities to meet set targets.
    • Supervise production line workers, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency, product consistency, and minimal waste.
    • Ensure that machinery and equipment are operated correctly and safely.
    • Enforce hygiene and sanitation protocols across the production floor.
    • Ensure strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
    • Assist in quality checks of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
    • Document and report deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns promptly.
    • Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, wastage reports, and downtime analysis.
    • Ensure documentation is audit-ready for internal and external inspections.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition, or related life sciences.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food processing or manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000), GMP, and production line supervision.
    • Ability to manage and supervise staff effectively under hygiene and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
