Job summary

Responsible for overseeing the activities of the production department following laid down procedures. This person will ensure that interrelated activities within the production department are carried out with utmost care to ensure quality delivery. Has total control of all production activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the operations of the production department efficiently and effectively.
•  Liaise with foreign technical partners for new implementation and support– related matters.
• Upgrade the personalization solutions to handle any EMV card personalization as required.
• Regular knowledge transfer and training of the production staff on all the production activities and processes.
• Liaise with the card association companies (Interswitch, MasterCard and VISA) to resolve issues relating to production as may be required from time to time.
• Provide strategic direction on production plan for the director's ratification and IAC.
• Coordinate all production activities including monthly overtime schedule of production staff and forward it to HR unit by the 18th day of each month.
• Regularly monitor clients' stock of cards and PERSO consumables in the vault and liaise with clients and the admin department for replenishment before the cards are entirely used.
• Ensure technical training is conducted twice a month to eliminate any skill gaps within the department.
•  Resolve all issues relating to production with the banks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to customers that will attract repeat business.
• Manage all the production software licenses and ensure prompt annual renewal by the IT department.
• Constant technology research and development.
• Full compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Information Security Policy.
• Observe and obey the clear desk policy.
•  To uphold the rule of non-disclosure and confidentiality of information.
•  Ensure wastes are shredded accordingly.
• To maintain the password rules.
• Ensure that proper records of business activities are kept, and that backup of business files is done regularly.
• To adhere and comply with all ISP rules as stated therein.
•  The Executive Director may direct any other responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc./HND in relevant.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Production Manager.
• Professional certification(s) in a related field will be an added advantage.
