Production Manager (Production Factory) at Workforce Group

A Leading FMCG Paper Packaging Company in Nigeria is looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for leading the production team and drive for operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day production operations ensuring efficiency and meeting production target.
• Develop production plan, and workflows with team to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Ensure that production schedules are mapped out before production.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials before any production is carried out.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize workflow and resource utilization to maximize productivity.
• Supervise and evaluate and performance of production personnel.
• Ensure finished goods are properly packed and arranged.
• Ensure proper documentation of raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare production report and send it to the MD.

EXPEREINCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent management skills, with proven ability to manage a factory
• Sound knowledge of production planning, waste management and increasing employee efficiency through training
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent data analysis skills
• 10yrs+ working experience in production with at least 5 years’ experience in a managerial level in a paper packaging and printing company.
• Minimum of BSC in a relevant field from a recognized institution
• CPMI or equivalent certification
• Good knowledge of MS Office (excel, word and PowerPoint)
•  Proven expertise in managing a production factory profitably
• Strong people & material resources management skills, analytic skills, business acumen
