Production Manager at ORIKI Group

Job Summary

• The Production Manager is to oversee all production processes.
• This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality output while adhering to GMP, SOPs, safety, and regulatory standards.
• In order to ensure all clients are satisfied.

Responsibilities
Production Processing and Management:

• Make adequate research and ensure that all production process is up to standard
• Define, create, propose and implement daily, monthly, quarterly and annual production plan
• Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
• Liaise with the cost accountant to develop and implement the budget(s) for the department and continuously control production cost and identify/rectify waste measures
• Analyse trends and metrics as it concerns skin care products
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management
• Make constant research on skin care and products for the brand
• Promote continual output improvements and actively contribute to the culture of innovation, excellence and accountability
• Make and submit detailed daily/weekly or monthly report(s) as required
• Design work flow in a cost efficient and effective way that increases productivity across all production lines
• Provide clarity about the company’s policies, procedures, objectives and goals to every team member

Team Management:

• Supervise production staff Lead meetings with the production team to discuss upcoming production workload and other issues raised by the team members
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Work closely with the HR to help manage, monitor and review performance of team members and organize necessary interventions for improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols across the team.

Inventory & Resource Planning:

• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging components.
• Optimize resource usage to minimize waste and reduce production costs.

Laboratory Management:

• Maintain corrective and preventive maintenance in the laboratory
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and adhered to the production team members
• Organise and ensure repair and routine maintenance of all laboratory equipments

Clients Management:

• Develop and deliver distinct leadership and quality control systems that strengthens clients’ trust and relationship
• Ensure all clients products are made on time and properly
• Provide and create a helpful feedback system to aid the production processes and re-evaluate SOP’s where necessary

Experience / Qualifications

• BA or BSC in microbiology or a related discipline
• Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be added advantage.
• Must possess 4-5 years’ work experience in solid knowledge of manufacturing procedures
• Experience with producing skin products for brands
