Production Manager at HR And Its People

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of garment production in our female fashion house.
• The ideal candidate will ensure timely and high-quality output, manage tailors and other production staff, and maintain alignment with our brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the production unit from fabric cutting to finishing
•  Supervise tailors, machinists, and other production staff to ensure efficiency and quality
•  Ensure production targets and deadlines are met without compromising quality
•  Monitor and manage production schedules, timelines, and workflow
•  Conduct quality control checks on garments before delivery
•  Collaborate with designers to understand style details, construction, and finishing requirements
•  Ensure proper inventory management of fabrics, threads, trims, and accessories
•  Recruit, train, and evaluate production team members as needed
•  Identify and resolve production challenges or delays promptly
•  Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace
•  Enforce company policies, especially regarding punctuality, discipline, and phone usage during work hours

Qualifications

•  Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or related field
•  At least 3 years of experience in garment production management (preferably women's fashion)
•  Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and pattern interpretation
•  Proven leadership and team management skills
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
•  Excellent communication and organizational skills
•  Attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship
