Production Manager at Foteino Talento

• As a Production Manager, you will oversee the manufacturing and sourcing processes for the store and its clients, ensuring products meet quality standards, delivery timelines, and brand requirements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work closely with designers, suppliers, and quality control teams.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Coordinate and manage the production schedule to meet demand, ensuring all products are delivered on time and align with store launch timelines.
• Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
• Quality Control: Oversee quality control measures, ensuring that all items meet the brand’s high standards before reaching the store.
• Cost Management: Monitor production costs, stay within budget, and seek opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the Inventory team to manage stock levels and anticipate restocking needs based on production timelines.
• Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all production practices comply with relevant regulations and align with sustainable sourcing practices where possible.
• Trend Monitoring: Keep up-to-date with fashion and production trends, making recommendations on new materials or methods to improve product quality or reduce costs.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any production-related issues promptly to minimise disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Team Leadership: Supervise production teams, providing training, guidance, and support to improve efficiency and ensure standards are met.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on production progress, quality issues, and other key metrics for management review.

Specific Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Fashion Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and production software.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines.
