Job Description

• A Restaurant is seeking a competent, proactive, and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily production operations, ensure consistent product quality, and maintain operational efficiency in line with the company’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Plan and supervise daily production activities to meet operational demands.
• Quality Control: Ensure products meet company standards for taste, quality, consistency, and presentation
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Cost Control: Minimize production costs, food waste, and unnecessary expenses.
• Inventory Management: Ensure adequate availability and efficient use of raw materials and ingredients.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise production staff, assign duties, and monitor performance.
• Standardization: Ensure compliance with approved recipes, portion sizes, and production procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and faults are reported promptly.
• Reporting: Prepare production reports on output, costs, wastage, and operational challenges.
• ​Operational Efficiency: Implement improvements to increase productivity and ensure timely production and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant production management experience, preferably in the food or restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and production processes
• Good communication, planning, and cost-control skills.
