    Production Coordinator

    Job Summary

    • The Production Coordinator is responsible for the manufacturing process, product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
    • The job holder ensures that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality also includes ensuring that the product supports the Company’s overall strategy and goals.
    • Ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently to the quality level expected and at the time frame required.
    • Involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage and dealing with people, particularly those who work in your team.
    • Overseeing the general production process, drawing up a production schedule.
    • Ensuring that the production is cost effective.
    • Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
    • Working out the human and material resources needed.
    • Drafting a timescale for the job.
    • Estimating costs and setting the quality standards.
    • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
    • Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
    • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
    • Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers.
    • Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
    • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
    • Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
    • Reviewing worker performance.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Experience in managing complex furniture production plant.
    • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Technical background, with experience in current developments.
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
    • Occasional travels out of station required.

    • Ability to apply forward planning techniques.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
