Job Description

• Operating production equipment and machinery
• Ensuring the production line runs smoothly and efficiently
• Performing quality checks on finished products/projects
• Maintaining accurate records of production data and reporting any issues to the supervisor
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Maintain inventory of materials and report shortages.
• Proficiency in operating manufacturing/production machinery.
• Attention to detail for quality control and ability to spot the minutest errors.
• Keep accurate records of production and inventory.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Following production schedules and meeting production targets/deadlines

Requirements / Skills

• First-degree / HND or its equivalent
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production or FMCG environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Time management skills to meet production deadlines.
• Excellent and effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work with little or no supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
• Basic knowledge of machinery and production processes
• The ability to use Corel Draw is preferable and would be an added advantage
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
