ROLE OVERVIEW

• The Product Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of electrical engineering products and solutions by understanding customer needs, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves promoting products, preparing proposals, and working closely with the sales and engineering teams to achieve sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for electrical products.
• Promote and sell electrical products and solutions to existing and potential customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Provide technical support to customers during product selection, installation, and commissioning.
• Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives. Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Provide after-sales support and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in marketing activities, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical product sales or a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical products such as power distribution, control systems, and installations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented. Willingness to travel within and outside the region.
• Professional certification (COREN, PMP, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
