    Product Manager

    Job Summary

    • The role of the Product Manager encompasses delivering innovative and optimal solutions (products and services) to meet market needs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Measuring and monitoring the product or service’s performance as well as presenting product-related consumer, market, and competitive intelligence to the management
    • Developing and proposing overall product strategies, and presenting marketplace outcome projections.
    • Formulating ways in which to package and market products in such a way that they become differentiated, compelling, easy to sell, and easy to buy.
    • Identifying and managing the ongoing rationalization of the business’s products in order to ensure that there is efficiency and effectiveness in product management.
    • Undertaking financial modeling on the products or services of the business as well as of the target markets in order to bring about an understanding of the relations between the product and the target market.
    • Producing reports and making recommendations to the Product team to be used as guidance in decision-making pertaining to the business’s new as well as existing products.
    • Monitoring the market, and competitor activities, as well as any price movements and making recommendations that will be used in key decision-making.
    • Driving consumer intelligence through the development of external and internal data sources that improve the business’s understanding of the product’s market, competitor activities, and consumer activities.
    • Developing/adopting research tools, sources, and methods that further support and contribute to the business’s product marketing management intelligence.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant fields
    • Minimum of 2 years of product management support experience, leading strategic and operational initiatives
    • Proven and successful experience leading a high-performing product and promotional strategies for a business, resulting in increased revenue.

    Job Knowledge:

    • Must be knowledgeable on product development methodologies
    • Must be knowledgeable on project management
    • Must be familiar with data analysis and interpretation
    • Must be able to conduct product lifecycle analysis
    • Must understand voice of the customer (VOC)
    • Must have knowledge.

    Skills/Competencies:

    • Ability to manage stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • Attention to accuracy and detail required
    • Critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
    • Must be technologically savvy
    • Excellent organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Competence to analyze financial and non-financial data
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
    • Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques
    • Excellent knowledge and use of existing software packages
    • (Power BI and Microsoft Excel)
