Product Manager/Owner at HelloMe Limited

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL IDEALLY HAVE TO:

• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Write requirements-typically as user stories and epics.
• Lead the virtual product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow the market, share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
• Represent the customer (be a proxy) within the development process.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
• Oversee and closely monitor the operational team to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
• Participate in and coordinate daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the development team with any questions they may have.
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
• Track product releases.
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree in computer science/engineering, software engineering, web development or web systems design, and other related fields.
• Proven work experience of 4-5 years in product management or as an associate product manager preferably within banking or financial services industry, Fintech,and digital banking environment.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
• In-depth knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and UX/UI best practices.
• Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of the industry and market trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
