We are looking for someone innovative and enjoys user-centricity to join us in rebuilding the credit, payments and data insights stack for African businesses. As a Product manager, you'll be very familiar with the functional needs of Fluna’s customers and can translate this into new product and feature solutions. You will participate in product strategy, planning sessions, product design, and requirement gathering.
Responsibilities
Take the lead in developing requirements and user stories for assigned products with the development teams, working in an agile process.
Write detailed user requirements for Design and Engineering teams and be responsible for running development sprints together
Help set the product roadmap and manage the backlog based on customer-driven insights
Conduct user interviews to understand pain points, identify potential gaps and test solutions
Have a deep understanding of latest trends, opportunities and existing capabilities in the market for treasury and fintech solutions
Responsible for delivering products from concept to final live solution
Track user activity to inform product roadmap and test new features using A/B testing
Work with the Engineering team to ensure that all projects that form part of the strategic product plans are tracking to plan and any issues are addressed promptly or escalated to senior management for resolution
Requirements
5+ years experience and proven track record working in a similar role with prior experience building a fintech product that covers lending, payments and/or data insights
Understanding of working in collaboration with a diverse range of business functions and customers to drive change and achieve delivery
Experience working with agile development teams and requirement definition/story breakdown for these teams
Track record of preparing and presenting a technical roadmap, prioritising product backlog, and working on product strategy
Hands-on experience working and leading Product Management, collaborating with Developers, Customer success, and UX/UI designers
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet targets and deadlines.
Experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
