Product Management Tutor at Conclase Consulting

Role Description

• The Product Management tutor will facilitate product management classes, deliver structured lessons, and guide learners through core concepts such as product discovery, roadmapping, stakeholder management, and product lifecycle.
• Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, delivering interactive lectures and workshops, assessing learner progress, and providing feedback on assignments and projects.
• The tutor will support learners with real-world case studies, mentor them on best practices, and collaborate with the program team to continuously improve curriculum and teaching methods.
• The role may also involve occasional participation in events, info sessions, and curriculum reviews to ensure alignment with current industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in product management, including defining product strategy, managing product roadmaps, and working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to teach core product management concepts such as user research, requirements gathering, prioritization frameworks, and metrics for product success.
• Experience designing or delivering training, workshops, or courses, with clear communication and presentation skills.
• Comfort working with digital collaboration tools and standard product management tools (e.g., backlog management, documentation, basic analytics).
• Proven ability to mentor or coach learners, with patience, empathy, and a structured approach to feedback.
• Relevant academic background in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in product roles.
• Up-to-date understanding of the tech ecosystem, product development processes, and agile methodologies.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lagos and collaborate with a diverse group of learners and colleagues.
