Procurement/Store Officer at Speedy Dish

We are looking for an astute Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality. The procurement officer's responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

QUALIFICATION: HND Accounting

Experience: 3 years of procurement & store management experience in hospitality, either in a fast-food, restaurant and lounge.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for accessing products, suppliers and negotiating contracts. You will also be responsible for ensuring approved purchases are sufficient and cost-efficient.

Other duties include the following:

• Analyzing and preparing budget for production materials and drinks for the smooth operations of a fast-food and lounge.
• Updating the cost of sale for proper accounting records and to determining the profit margin
• Taking the opening/closing stock and valuating the inventory weekly and monthly.
• Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as delivery times, product etc.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing monthly budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• High National Diploma (HND) in accounting a similar field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a procurement officer in a fast-food or lounge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• Attention to detail.
