Procurement / Quantity Surveyor at Prestigious Homes Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and  manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material schedules, cost estimates, and procurement requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Source construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while maintaining required quality standards.
• Conduct price comparisons, supplier evaluations, and cost analysis.
• Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring project expenditure.
• Support measurement, valuation, interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor material usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, contractors, prices, and market trends.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, accounts, and management to ensure timely procurement.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on outstanding orders.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5 - 10 years’ relevant experience in real estate development, construction, procurement, or quantity surveying.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, pricing, BOQs, measurement, and project costing.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and supplier-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS/procurement software is an advantage.
• Membership of NIQS or relevant professional body is an added advantage.

• Remuneration is open for negotiation and will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and the responsibilities of the role.
