Procurement & Quality Control Officer at Amani Advisory

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive Procurement & Quality Control Officer to manage the sourcing of high-quality fabrics, trims, and production materials, while ensuring that all finished products meet the brand’s quality standards. 
• This role is critical in maintaining consistency, reducing production errors, and supporting smooth operations within the fashion house.

Responsibilities
Procurement:

• Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and production materials from reliable vendors in line with design specifications and brand standards.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maintain cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Track inventory levels of raw materials and ensure timely reordering to avoid production delays.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for accountability.

Quality Control:

• Inspect raw materials upon delivery to confirm quality and conformity with specifications.
• Conduct quality checks at various stages of the production process, from sample to final garment.
• Identify defects or inconsistencies in materials and workmanship and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production team to enforce quality control protocols and timelines.
• Ensure that all finished products meet the brand's quality, fit, and finishing standards before approval.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in relevant fields.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in procurement or quality control, preferably in fashion or garment production.
• Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with design and production teams.
