Procurement Officer at Transport Services Limited

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective purchasing and delivery of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and driving procurement efficiency across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage key supplier agreements to ensure the best value for the organisation
• Develop, control, and improve purchasing processes and procurement compliance
• Coordinate and monitor the tendering and quotation process
• Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts for goods, equipment, and services
• Maintain accurate vendor and stock databases for effective reporting
• Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of company vehicles and office equipment
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and procurement regulations
• Provide procurement advice and support to management and staff
• Monitor procurement trends and implement continuous improvements

Requirements:

• Education: First degree in any management discipline from a recognised institution
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in warehouse, storage, or procurement operations
• Professional Membership: Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) is an advantage
