Job Description

• Ensured prompt procurement of high-quality materials for production use and office, in line with the company’s procurement policies.
• Ensures purchase orders are executed promptly as required to foster uninterrupted operations.
• Conducts market research to gather information on current prices and price movement for critical inputs, and advise on pricing and buying strategies.
• Follow-up with store or warehouse officers to maintain optimum inventory stock levels by reducing material and cost wastages due to overstocking and expiration of materials.
• Prepares weekly and monthly report on procurement activities.
• Maintain good supplier relations and negotiated contracts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Officer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, purchasing software and tally.
• Good knowledge of procurement practice and principle
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
