Procurement Officer at Calibration and Non Destructive Services Limited

Role Overview

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the end-to-end procurement process. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services at competitive prices, supporting operational efficiency and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and procurement budgets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Make sound procurement decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, pricing, and related data.
• Review and analyze vendors, supply options, and pricing structures.
• Plan and coordinate the procurement of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Prepare and manage bid proposals and contract documentation.
• Source prospective suppliers/OEM through online research and other channels.
• Maintain and regularly update the supplier database, including qualifications, delivery timelines, and development potential.
• Collaborate with team members and the Procurement Manager to execute procurement activities effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in related disciplines.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a sourcing or procurement role in an EPCI industry.
• Proven experience sourcing commodities and oil & gas equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think innovatively
• Highly proactive, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Ariba, Nipex and GEP-smart portal
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
