Procurement Officer at Calibration and Non Destructive Services Limited

• We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team. If you have expertise in sourcing oil and gas equipment and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate and establish cost parameter and budget for purchase
• Create and maintain good relationship with vendors/suppliers
• Make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain records of purchasing, pricing and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
• Develop bid proposals for contracts
• Source for prospective suppliers by making use of internet
• Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
• Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of a B.Sc/HND in Procurement and Logistics, Management, and Engineering courses.
• Experienced in sourcing on-line for commodity and oil and gas equipment
• 1–3 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, especially for oil and gas equipment.
• Proficiency in online sourcing and tech tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
