Procurement Officer at African Industries Group (AIG)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within a steel plant or steel manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Experience in supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with sourcing industrial raw materials, spare parts, consumables, mechanical components, and electrical equipment.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Candidates residing in Ikorodu or nearby areas are strongly preferred.
