Procurement Manager at Shalina Healthcare

We are looking for External Manufacturing and Operations manager in the Consumer/FMCG area:

Manufacturing processes/Operations

• We will give you one or several projects to coordinate from strategy to execution and suggest optimizations to the manufacturing processes, trigger change of process, or reorganize part of the supply chains.
• You will be responsible for the assigned project to drive the systemic Quality continuous improvement program, in support to day-to-day operation to achieve business target and deliver excellence. External Manufacturing QA is accountable for product release and disposition, proactive monitoring performance of the external manufacturer, to ensure they remain in validated state. You will have full support from QA team
• MPD (Material Process & Delivery) Process You will be assigned to impactful Technical Projects such as:
• Qualification of new Formulas/new Ingredients together with R&D/Business/Quality Teams
• Development of Process Optimizations for the Factories (new Technologies, Rapid Changeover Programs, etc.)
• Business Development: you will be responsible for finding right external manufacturing partners for consumer products. You will negotiate, develop, execute projects with vendors on loan license or third-party model. You will also maintain sustainable partnership with them for business growth and to secure a win-win situation for SHALINA and external manufacturer.
• To enable and allow you to develop your expertise, you will be embedded in a dynamic environment where managerial, technical and operation team work together and will provide the support needed to overcome the challenge.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 year’s previous experience in business development of third party contract manufacturers and/or other Supply Chain functions within FMCG / Consumer Goods
• Exposure and understanding of manufacturing, quality requirements, supply chain and other business disciplines in previous positions or project work preferred.
• Negotiations and Contract Manufacturing Development
• The position requires strong project and influence management skills to lead cross-functional project teams.
• Exposure to new product commercialization and start-up procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Influence management skills with the ability to manage cross-functional resources without direct reporting relationships.
• Excellent communication skills - both formal and informal with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
• Highly collaborative leadership style with the ability to lead effectively and handle conflict in cross-functional integration role.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills as well as a problem-solving approach.
