About the job

• The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills. 
• You should be comfortable with change, as you would be entering the company at an exciting phase of development.
• You should have a hands-on approach since initially you would be mostly carrying out the activities yourself vs. delegating to others.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts and acquire the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality.
• Forecast needs and supplies.
• Review requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Maintain reasonable stock coverage levels and minimize out-of-stock situations 
• Ensure high quality of all the products ordered
• Drive new procurement relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery terms
• Drive any new strategic procurement initiatives and other areas where management requires support
• Being a role model and inspirational carrier of Lifestores’ culture and beliefs

Qualifications

• B Pharm or any related course of study
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a procurement manager in a pharmaceutical company
• Knowledge pf pharmaceutical product
• Proficient in the use of MS Tools
