Job Summary

Apple & Pears Limited, a food processing and manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to manage all purchasing activities and report to the Head - Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes that support efficient production operations. 

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:

• Sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment, and other supplies required for production and operations.
• Identifying, evaluating, and vetting vendors to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for money.
• Drawing up and managing agreements/contracts with vendors.
• Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Ensuring timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Collaborating with internal departments to understand procurement needs and forecast demand.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Applicants residing within Ogun State and its environs will have an added advantage.
• Must be able to resume on short notice.

Salary

₦300,000 Gross monthly
