Procurement Lead at 25th and Staffing

Overview:

• The Procurement Lead will be responsible for managing the procurement process of raw materials and supplies necessary for our cashew processing operations.
• This role is pivotal to ensuring the smooth and cost-effective acquisition of goods, fostering strong supplier relationships, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient acquisition of raw materials.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential data.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets and forecast procurement needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within a food processing company or the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork experience.
• Detailed and result-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and capable of preparing clear and concise reports.
• Exceptional organizational, networking, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
