Job Summary

• The principal's job description will be to oversee the day-to-day operations,setlearning goals for students and teachers, and ensures a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Vision: Developing and implementing a strategic plan to drive school success, conducting SWOT analysis, and setting clear goals for academic achievement, school culture, and community involvement.
• Curriculum Management: Overseeing curriculum development, implementation, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with educational standards and diverse student needs.
• Staff Supervision and Development: Hiring, training, and evaluating teachers and staff, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting professional growth through coaching. Attending to parents complaints, constructive criticism and matters relating to their wards.
• Student Affairs: Maintaining discipline, ensuring student safety and well-being, and providing academic support through programs like tutoring, after-school activities, and individualized education plans.- Community Relations: Building partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance educational opportunities and resources.
• Liase with visitors from external bodies.

Requirements

• Previous Experience: Proven experience as a principal or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of educational administration with strong educational background.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate teachers, students, and staff, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Teaching License: A valid teaching license is and added advantage..
• Resident within Ogba and its environs.
