    Primary Teachers

    Job Overview:

    • A primary school teacher is responsible for the education and development of children in their formative years, typically grades K-6. They create lesson plans, deliver engaging lessons, and assess student progress to ensure each child's academic and emotional growth. Primary school teachers foster a positive learning environment and develop strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and diverse lessons across various subjects, including reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, and physical education.
    • Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines, educational standards, and school policies.
    • Assess student progress through regular monitoring, testing, and evaluations, using data-driven instruction to inform teaching strategies.
    • Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs, by implementing differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching techniques.
    • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment that supports student development and fosters a sense of belonging.
    • Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on student progress, behavior, and any areas of concern.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with new teaching methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, behavior, and attendance, in compliance with school and district policies.
    • Plan and supervise extracurricular activities, field trips, and events to enrich the learning experience and promote student engagement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
    • Teaching certification or license in the state where you plan to work.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Creativity and adaptability, with a passion for teaching and supporting the unique needs of young learners.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain student engagement.
    • Proficiency in using technology to support teaching and learning.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in education..
