Our client, a British Nursery and Primary school in Abuja seek the services of experienced Primary School teachers for immediate employment. The school provides a happy, safe, and engaging learning environment where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Job Location: FCT, Abuja (Ideal candidates MUST be resident in Abuja). 
Numbers of teachers required: Six (6) 
Job Summary:
The job holders will develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives; foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children according to age, ability, and aptitude; facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils aged about 3 to 11. 
Typical work activities:

• Teaching all areas of the primary curriculum;
• taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils;
• organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment;
• planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class;
• motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
• maintaining discipline;
• preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development;
• meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development;
• providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil's progress at parents' teacher’s meetings/assessment (open) days;
• coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of specialist areas;
• working with others to plan and coordinate work;
• keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;
• organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening;
• liaising with colleagues to ensure the overall goal of the school is achieved;
• Any other duty of similar responsibility assigned by the head of school from time to time. 

Requirement:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in (Education, Sciences, Art, etc)
• Relevant certifications in education  
• Masters degree will be an added advantage
• Between 4– 6 years of work experience as teachers in an organized school 

Salary:
Gross salary ranges between N1, 920,000 – N2, 400, 000/m (based on experience).
