Job description

A foremost educational consult with a reputable group of schools is looking for  smart and proactive candidates to join our dynamic workforce. Lower Primary and Upper Primary School teachers are urgently needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Take students’ attendance daily, reports absenteeism to the principal or vice principal
• Check students’ appearance daily and mete out appropriate punishment
• Ensure students have the class timetable and other schedules (homework, intervention, assessment, etc.). These schedules must also be pasted on the boards in the classroom.
• Ensure neatness, safety and orderliness of the classroom
• Ensure that subject teachers are punctual to class and maximize their time
• Ensure that the boards contain beneficial information at all times
• Ensure students’ health and safety and that no one is being bullied
• Check students’ notes or supervise same
• Monitors the activities of the students at all times
• Charges students on daily basis, before the day’s work
• Monitor students’ activities in the classroom, on the playground, everywhere else during events and other activities
• Report behavioral or academic defects directly to the principal, vice principal or administrator

REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed.) a post graduate teaching qualification would be an added advantage.
• Tech saavy
• Proximity to Bricks Estate, (Republic Layout) Enugu, would be an added advantage.

Basic pay: 70,000 - 100,000Monthly.
