Job Description

• As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, fostering intellectual and social development, and promoting a love for learning among our students.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of primary education principles, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the individual needs of students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
• Stay updated with the latest educational practices and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (a degree in Primary Education is highly desirable).
• Teaching certification or license from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Nigeria or a similar cultural context.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian primary school curriculum and educational standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to integrate technology into teaching practices.
