Roles and Responsibilities

• Substation Primary Plant design (Develop SLD, GA, Sections, EarthGrid, Trenches and
• Conduit layout)
• Earthing design in CDEGS
• Underground cable design in CYMCAP
• Compile reports and engineering calculations.
• Interpret standards and implement calculation formulas in Excel.
• Lighting design in Dialux.
• Compile BOMs.
• Basic Renewable energy design experience.
• Overhead line design in PLS-CADD will be a bonus.
• Basic LV and Secondary Plant experience will be a bonus.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Eng or B.Sc or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of relevant substation primary plant design experience in voltage levels up to 132kV or above
• CDEGS, CYMCAP, MATHCAD, and PLS-CADD experience will be advantageous.
• Basic Microstation/Autocad skills
• Wide range of general knowledge of electrical engineering.
