Preschool Teachers at Kingston Bridge School

Responsibilities

• Teaching all areas of the EYFS using Montessori approach.
• Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
• Taking responsibility for the progress of the learners.
• Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
• Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of learners’ development.
• Coordinating activities and resources within specific areas of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery.
• Providing feedback to parents on learners’ progress.
• Keeping up to date with current procedures and practices through continuing professional development.

Requirements

• NCE, B.ED, TRCN, BSc/HND (plus PGDE).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a preschool teacher in a reputable school.
• Good knowledge of EYFS and applicability.
• Good knowledge of Montessori learning approach.
• Good writing skill.
• Very good knowledge of Jolly phonics.
• Ability to effectively use online learning tools.
• Digitally knowledgeable.
• Excellent written and verbal communications (fluent in English Language).

Note

• Qualified applicants who reside around Ogudu, Ojota, Alapere, Ketu, Ikosi and Oworonshoki environments will have added advantage.
