Power / UPS Engineer at Dataflex

Location: Area 8 - Garki, Abuja (FCT)

Job Brief

• We are recruiting to fill in the position of a Power / UPS Engineer. This role has been created to expand our service delivery division to improve service response times to clients.
• The successful candidate will ideally be a B.Sc/ HND qualified Electrical / Electronic Engineer and must have a demonstrable background working within Power / UPS Service Engineering Sub Unit.

Responsibilities

• Installations of electrical equipments (Power panels, Gear Change Over, Automatic Transfer Switches)
• Installation of UPS
• Installation of Inverters and Batteries
• Servicing and maintenance of UPS systems, Inverters and related equipments
• Providing support, testing and fault finding on UPS, Inverters and related power equipments.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Eng Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years on experience working as Power/UPS Engineer
• Vast Knowledge and understanding of power distribution
• Ability to install and diagnose UPS
• Clear understanding of safe working practices on site with relevance to high voltage AC and DC equipment
• Experienced in on-site problem solving and working practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
