About the Role

• We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Data Analytics with Power BI Trainer to join our training team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical, engaging, and industry-focused training in Data Analytics, with particular emphasis on Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL.
• The ideal candidate should be able to simplify technical concepts and guide learners through hands-on exercises and real-world data analytics projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical training in Data Analytics, Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL.
• Develop and deliver structured lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, assignments, and projects.
• Train learners on Power BI Desktop, including data import, transformation, modelling, and visualisation.
• Teach learners how to create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Train students on Power Query and DAX for data transformation and analysis.
• Teach Advanced Excel techniques, including:
• Guide learners through real-world datasets and practical analytics projects.
• Assess learners through assignments, practical exercises, tests, and projects.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to learners.
• Prepare relevant datasets and practical case studies for classroom exercises.
• Keep training content current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven practical experience in Data Analytics and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Advanced Excel, and SQL.
• Practical experience creating dashboards, reports, data models, and visualisations using Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Power Query and DAX.
• Good understanding of data cleaning, transformation, analysis, and visualisation.
• Ability to work with real-world datasets and develop practical analytics projects.
• Previous experience as a trainer, instructor, facilitator, mentor, or teaching assistant is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners and intermediate learners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
