Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Poultry Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our poultry farm.
• The ideal candidate will ensure optimal production, maintain flock health, manage farm staff, and uphold the highest biosecurity and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all poultry farm operations, including feeding, breeding, vaccination, and egg/meat production.
• Monitor the health and welfare of birds, identifying and responding to disease or production issues.
• Maintain records of livestock, production, and farm inventory.
• Supervise, train, and manage farm staff to ensure productivity and adherence to SOPs.
• Implement biosecurity and sanitation protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and suppliers to ensure quality care and input materials.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and procurement of farm supplies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in poultry farm management or a similar role.
• Degree or diploma in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of poultry farming best practices and animal health management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a rural setting and manage physical farm activities.
